Job Post Park Managers

Job Opportunity at Karumba Point Sunset Caravan Park

Want a better life and to live free?   Then come and make a big splash at the Outback by the Sea!

The crabs are almost as big as the crocodiles and the fishing doesn’t get much better anywhere in Australia.

Karumba Point Sunset Caravan Park is a busy medium-sized Caravan Park situated in Karumba in the Gulf of Carpentaria where the outback meets the sea.  With the best positioning on the point, we are located across from the boat ramp and mere meters to a great restaurant and pub that hosts some of the best sunsets in Australia. The nearby fish and chips shop is nothing short of delicious.

Our 170 + powered and non-powered sites campground with its 10 spotless villas and amenity blocks is looking for a management couple who are fit, smart and motivated and able to take control of this venture for the next two years or more.

The park has been recently updated and doesn’t require any fixing.  It just needs a great management team to continue to ‘wow’ our already satisfied guests, both new and revisiting couples, singles, families and friends.  We have a good mix of long-termers and tourists.  No permanent residents.

Karumba is a friendly community with everything you need.  Its population swells significantly in the high season which is typically from April through to October.

The weather doesn’t get any better and it’s hard to beat the fishing, wildlife and coastal surroundings.

If this sounds enticing to you and you want to be remunerated and respected for your experience and performance, get in touch today.  Our existing managers are leaving in October so a start date of around the middle of September is ideal.

If you are interested in this position and have worked in the industry before, you will know the specifics of what a role like this entails and that a significant amount of all-round skill and can-do ability is necessary.  If this is not you, then you are probably not the right fit for this position.

All questions along with a more detailed outline of the role can be discussed if you’re interested and we move to the second stage.

Don’t miss out on this great opportunity if you’re interested and believe you have what it takes!
